The camping facilities seem fairly nice and largely well-shaded; however, the restrooms by the playground are far smaller than necessary on the weekend with only three stalls in the ladies room. Furthermore, my teenage daughter commented on the lack of adequate signage throughout the park, saying she thinks that the park would be more cohesive with large fixed maps at every major attraction throughout the park. Beyond that, in order for the park to be more family-friendly, my whole family thinks that having an easier way to access the water would make the park much more enjoyable.

You get to walk in dinosaur footprints, real tracks in the park that have been fossilized into the ground. Bring your swim suit cause there is water to get to some of the tracks. They have lots of trails to hike, tables for having a picnic, and swimming in the stream area. It's definitely worth checking out plus there is a gift shop there too.

Great little (actually it's not so little) park. This would be a 5 star park, even without the dinosaur prints. It's very peaceful with a lush and diverse landscape. There are walking and hiking trails for all ability levels. I do think Texas could do more to highlight the dinosaur prints this park is famous for. We found that the trail maps were difficult to follow and did not accurately reflect where all the prints were. A boardwalk over sections of the river would be an amazing addition. All that said, it's still a great park, with or without these improvements.

Trails, campsites, and dinosaur tracks! Lots of hiking trails through brush and creeks with surprising access to ancient dinosaur tracks - if not covered by water. Fun for explorers or paleontologists of all ages.

Very nice place to camp. Family friendly. Great for children and adults. Exceptional and very helpful park staff. Best camping place in Texas.
